Why Train Jiu Jitsu As An Adult?

  • Practical Self‑Defense – Techniques utilizing leverage to control opponents without striking.

  • Full‑Body Workout – Melt fat, build functional strength, and boost cardiovascular endurance in every class.

  • Stress Relief & Focus – Escape daily distractions while sharpening problem‑solving skills and mental resilience.

  • Supportive Community – Train alongside motivated teammates and world‑class coaches who want to see you succeed.

What You’ll Learn In The Adult Program

Fundamentals First

We recommend starting in our fundamentals classes, clear instruction for beginners and no experience is needed with an into into rolling.

Advanced Development

The classes outside of fundamentals are designed to advance higher level techniques, additional live rolling and linking multiple techniques together. The advanced classes don’t require a certain rank and is open to everyone.

Gi & NO-Gi Options

Flexible schedule to train both styles, Gi And No-Gi (Gi is a uniform that replicates clothing).

Self Defense

We believe you can train for both self defense and sport at the same time. We talk about the adjustments and show you how to implement those in both situations.

What to Expect in Your First Class

  1. Warm‑Up & Mobility – Dynamic movement to prep joints and raise heart rate.

  2. Technique Breakdown – Step‑by‑step instruction with ample time to drill.

Let the coaches know your skill level and ask to be paired with an appropriate partner as you get to know everyone. Our top priority is to ensure a safe, encouraging environment from day one.

Promotions take place every three months. Students need to test and have minimum attendance met.

Competitions are an option for every student but not a requirement. As a team we regularly plan and go to local/semi local tournaments.
